How to Register

Step 1: Schedule an Appointment With Your Advisor!

Optional Step: Review the Catalog (if you aren't sure of your major)

Step 2: Review DARS and Graduation Plan

What is a DARS?

DARS is an acronym for the Degree Audit Reporting System. DARS analyzes degree requirements for a major, minor, or certificate according to the catalog year in which you entered the program. DARS reports are the printed results of the analysis. The DARS report displays the courses from which you must select in order to complete degree requirements, and it shows how the completed courses apply toward those requirements. The DARS report provides a "snapshot" of where you stand relative to graduation.

**Graduation Plans will not be ready until late October for First Years.**

Step 3: Review Course Offerings

What is Course Offerings?

The Ohio University Course Offerings site permits you to search for classes being offered for current and future terms. Once you select your search criteria you click "Search," and the classes that meet your criteria are displayed. If you select multiple locations, each location appears in the results as a separate tab, and each tab identifies the number of classes (for that location) that met your criteria.

Optional Step: Building Your Schedule with Schedule Planner
