At OHIO, your student's future is our top priority. Beginning with student orientation and extending all the way through commencement, our faculty and staff strive to help students get the most from their Ohio University experience and prepare them for their futures as professionals in a complex, interconnected world. With the encouragement of their professors, a growing number of our students are competing for national awards, such as prestigious Fulbright and Goldwater honors.
Thank you for visiting our web site. Whether you're a parent of a current OHIO student or your son or daughter is considering joining the Ohio University family, we hope the links listed here will help in meeting your informational needs. If you are unable to locate the specific resource you need through this page, we recommend using the University's online search tool.
OHIO students living off-campus urged to participate in U.S. Census
No matter what your student is studying or where, it is vital that students – especially those in off-campus housing – respond to the Census.
Students who live in off-campus housing in Athens should count themselves at their off-campus address, even if they are staying somewhere else due to COVID-19. The only exceptions are students who normally live with a parent or guardian during the duration of the school year.
Census data collected from students in 2020 will inform how much federal funding and support Athens County will receive for the next decade.
