Hear from the Dean of the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts, connect with undergraduate admissions experts and enjoy live performances. Parent & Family Experience

While students attend academic workshops, parents and supporters can explore the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts at their own pace. Meet the dean and college leadership, learn about available talent-based scholarships, and discover the academic, creative and career opportunities available to students. Drop in throughout the morning.
Lunch & Learn
12:30 p.m. | Baker University Center Ballroom (4th floor)
Join us for a complimentary lunch, enjoy a performance by the Ohio University Singers, and take part in a lively student panel highlighting the arts experience on campus. Hear personal stories, ask questions and gain insight into student life while connecting with faculty and exploring the creative energy that defines our arts community!

Bobcat Arts Care: Create, Connect and Thrive
2-4 p.m. | Ping Recreation Center
Take a break, get creative and experience a unique side of student life at OHIO. Visit the Well-Being Wing for a relaxed, drop-in open house featuring hands-on art activities, creative wellness stations, music, reflection spaces and connections with current students. Discover how Bobcat ArtsCare supports student well-being through art-based experiences that foster creative, connection, stress relief and personal growth.
Honors & Scholars Presentation
3-3:30 p.m. | Baker University Center Theater (2nd floor)
Learn how Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College and other honors and scholars opportunities can enrich your academic experience through personalized mentoring, undergraduate research, interdisciplinary learning and unique pathways for intellectual and creative exploration. Discover how high-achieving students can maximize their impact both inside and outside the classroom.
Campus Walking Tour

Tour our beautiful and historic campus with a student tour guide, including an optional residence hall visit. Two tour options are available:
- 3:30 p.m. - Walking campus tour + residence hall visit

Film
Portfolio Sessions: Film Students can sign up for Portfolio Advising Sessions at Check in. Please bring online links to videos, images of visual work, or paper copies of screenplays for feedback.
Art + Designs
Portfolio Sessions: Students can sign up for Portfolio Advising Sessions at Check in. Please bring images of visual work, links to videos, design examples on your own device, or via the web to share.
Music
Mock Auditions: Sign up during check in at Memorial Auditorium and received your assigned time at the Hospitality Station in Glidden 4th floor Lobby.
Theater Auditions
Sign Up during check in at Memorial Auditorium. More information about auditions and interview can be found here.
Dance Auditions
All students are welcome to participate in or observe any of the open classes during this event. The Modern I class will also serve as an audition for high school seniors interested in the dance major or minor. Whether auditioning or just participating, please come prepared to take these classes in dancewear that allows freedom of movement. This can include leotards and tights, sweatpants, dance, or yoga pants. More information about audition requirements and registration here.
