A One-of-a-Kind Experience

High school students and families are invited to join the faculty, staff, and current students of the College of Fine Arts to see for yourself how OHIO empowers future artists and arts professionals, inspires originality, and will help you create your place in the world.

9:00–9:30 AM: Check in
9:30–10:15 AM: Welcome Session
10:30–12:30 PM: Workshops/Class Observation Experiences
12:30–1:30 PM: Lunch
1:30–2:30 PM: Faculty & Student Panel Discussions
2:30–4:00 PM: Auditions/Lectures/Workshops

Film
Portfolio Sessions: Film Students can sign up for Portfolio Advising Sessions at Check in. Please bring online links to videos, images of visual work, or paper copies of screenplays for feedback.
Art + Designs
Portfolio Sessions: Students can sign up for Portfolio Advising Sessions at Check in. Please bring images of visual work, links to videos, design examples on your own device, or via the web to share.
Music
Mock Auditions: Sign up during check in at Memorial Auditorium and received your assigned time at the Hospitality Station in Glidden 4th floor Lobby.
Theater Auditions
Sign Up during check in at Memorial Auditorium. More information about auditions and interview can be found here.
Dance Auditions
All students are welcome to participate in or observe any of the open classes during this event. The Modern I class will also serve as an audition for high school seniors interested in the dance major or minor. Whether auditioning or just participating, please come prepared to take these classes in dancewear that allows freedom of movement. This can include leotards and tights, sweatpants, dance, or yoga pants. More information about audition requirements and registration here.
