Kick off Experience the Arts Day with an inspiring welcome to the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts. Hear from college leaders and experience the creativity, talent, and passion of our students through a dynamic showcase of performances, artwork, and artistic achievement that highlights the vibrant arts community at Ohio University.

Parent & Family Experience
Jennings House, Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts Dean’s Office

While students participate in academic workshops, parents and supporters are invited to explore the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts through a flexible, come-and-go experience. Connect with the Dean and college leadership, learn about scholarship opportunities and student support resources, meet with academic advisors to discuss four-year degree pathways, and gain valuable insights into the academic, creative, and career opportunities available to your student. Drop in and engage at your own pace throughout the morning to learn more about how to best support your student through their college admissions journey!

Lunch & Learn 
Baker Center Ballroom

Discover what it's really like to be a Fine Arts student at Ohio University. Enjoy lunch while hearing firsthand perspectives from current students, exploring opportunities to get involved through student organizations, learning about career pathways and alumni success, engaging with student research and creative projects, and connecting with School Directors and faculty from across the college. This interactive session is the perfect opportunity to envision your future as part of our creative community.

Afternoon Academic Information Sessions, Auditions, and Portfolio Feedback Opportunities

Participate in interactive workshops, complete your audition process, or receive one-on-one portfolio feedback from faculty. This is your chance to experience your future program firsthand and demonstrate your creative potential.

Honors & Scholars Presentation
Baker Center Theater

Learn how Ohio University's Honors Tutorial College and other scholars’ opportunities can enrich your academic experience through personalized mentoring, undergraduate research, interdisciplinary learning, and unique pathways for intellectual and creative exploration. Discover how high-achieving students can maximize their impact both inside and outside the classroom.

Next Steps & Application Station
Baker Center, Room 504

Ready to become a Bobcat? Stop by the Next Steps & Application Station to get personalized guidance on the application process, admissions requirements, scholarships, financial aid, and important deadlines. Admissions staff will be available to answer your questions and help you confidently navigate your path to Ohio University.

Optional Add On Experience: 

5:30-7:00pm: Marching 110 Rehearsal Observation Experience 
(Requires selection at time of registration)

The Marching 110, OHIO's marching band, will be practicing at Hurley Field on Monday, October 12 from 5:30-7pm., and you're invited to watch! 

NOTE: All registered students will receive additional details regarding school specific offerings and individually scheduled appointment leading up to the event.
