Kevin Lewis was raised ten minutes from Kings Island in Maineville, Ohio. He remembers discovering his passion for cinema at the age of six in the backseat of his mother's car with a JVC portable DVD player on his lap. As he accidentally pressed play on the bonus features for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, his life started to revolve around the idea of filmmaking. Throughout high school, he began to force his friends to help bring his visions to life, producing music videos and shorts on his iPhone. He spent countless hours scouring the internet to learn as much as he could about the filmmaking process. Outside of crafting his amateur films, he helped to create the broadcast division for his school's journalism department and stage-managed for the theater company. Kevin enjoys any movie with the A24 logo in front of it. He hopes to continue acquiring knowledge and hone his skills as a filmmaker throughout his time in Athens
