Undergraduate BFA Stage Management

The purpose of the Stage Management program is to prepare students for entry into the professional theater as a stage manager, or to continue their education in a graduate program.

After a first year of core classes for the BA or BFA, students are able to interview and apply for a place in the program. During the first two years Stage Management students will complete the majority of the theater core and general education requirements. In addition to their course work, students will have a variety of practical experiences to develop their management skills along with guidance, counseling and evaluation from their advisor. An internship with a professional theater is an important part of the program.
