Ohio University's benefit partners, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Impact Solutions, have resources available which allow you to have an office visit with a doctor or therapist using the telephone or video chat and resources specific to COVID-19 concerns. Important Update: Telehealth visits through Anthem LiveHealth Online or other telehealth technologies used by physicians in the Anthem network are available to members at no cost between now and June 14, 2020.

Provides video/phone consultations with physicians and mental health counselors including psychiatrists. LiveHealth Online is available at no cost to Anthem members between now and June 14, 2020.

Anthem Telehealth Benefits with an Anthem Network Provider

Telehealth visits with an Anthem network physician through the physician’s telehealth technology (not just Life Health Online) are covered at no cost to the employee through June 14, 2020.

Anthem Sydney Care Mobile App

The Sydney Care mobile app is available for free from the App Store® or Google Play™.  With the Sydney Care mobile app you can schedule LiveHealth Online visits and also get one Virtual Care text session for free. Additional Virtual Care text sessions cost $19 each.

Impact SolutionsTelemental Health Services

Provides access to licensed counselors and referrals to licensed counselors.  All you need is a computer, tablet or smart phone with a camera and internet access. Call 1-800-227-6007 to schedule an appointment. The first 6 visits of plan year with an EAP/Impact or Anthem Network Provider are free, after 6 visits there is $25 co-pay.
