Travel Insurance and Resources

Travel insurance is provided through the University's life insurance policy by RedpointWTP LLC. Travel assistance services provide all active U.S. employees covered under the group life insurance program, and their spouses and dependents, with 24/7/365 access to emergency assistance, and transport services when traveling 50 or more miles away from home for up to 180 days. If you are enrolled in an Ohio University medical plan you can take your health care benefits with you when you are abroad. Through the BlueCard Worldwide Program [PDF], you have access to medical assistance services, doctors and hospitals around the world.
