Aperio

Aperio is a virtual microscopy application used in histology and microanatomy labs.

• Username and password provided via Blackboard.

Blackboard

Blackboard is the learning management software used at the Heritage College.

• download materials (e.g. PowerPoint's) for learning activities
• retrieve recorded lectures and labs
• take self-assessment and graded quizzes; check grades
• review announcements from faculty and staff

E*Value

E*Value is used for evaluation management and clinical scheduling and rotations management.

Examsoft

Examsoft is the e-testing software used in Y1-Y2. Exams are taken on locally on student personal devices and saved once every minute. Live internet connection only required on download and upload of exam.

• Login information including username and password is emailed individually. If you have lost your login information, please contact support.

Learning Space

Learning Space is used to manage patient-student encounters in the Clinical Training and Assessment Center during Years 1-2 and the Year 3 OSCE.

• Login information will be provided at start of the year.

Mediasite

Mediasite is the lecture capture system used to record most lectures and OMM labs.

• Links to Mediasite are provided, where applicable, in Blackboard. Mediasite recordings typically require a separate login with your Ohio ID.
