BFA Film Student
Sam Diamond was raised in the suburb of Bay Village Ohio, outside of Cleveland. A love of movies was not something that came early to Sam, and it wasn’t until high school when he took a video production class that he even considered film to be a career path. In this class he learned he had an enthusiasm for editing, and when it came time to make a college decision, he decided to roll with it. In his first year at Ohio University, Sam worked on multiple student shorts through the Rough Cut Collective. Although Sam has expanded his knowledge tenfold his freshman year, he’s only scratched the surface of what he needs to know to become a filmmaker. Before he graduates he hopes to get much more set experience, and delve deeper into the areas of cinematography and editing.
