Maria Gian, born and raised in Buffalo, New York, is studying for her BFA in Film and Integrated Media at Ohio University. She has always yearned to work in a creative field and had a realization that she was meant to be a filmmaker in her freshman year of college. Her biggest inspirations range from Bong Joon-Ho to Ari Aster. She is thrilled to continue her journey in reaching her highest potential of creativity at Ohio University, and to broaden her knowledge of the remarkable world of film!
