John Ryan Curtsinger was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. From a young age, he had been exposed to movies and quickly became interested in the process of filmmaking. Although heavily proficient in mathematics and sciences, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a film director. He enjoys creating psychological thrillers and dramas, but he generally loves most all things cinema. Outside of film, he is a massive fan of professional and collegiate basketball as well as other sports. He hopes to grow his knowledge of filmmaking through the professors and students of OU.
