Heylea Allen grew up in the small town of Oregon, Ohio (near Toledo). Growing up, she wanted to be many things, but finally decided on a career in film after she watched the Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, and Pirates of the Caribbean series. As she got older she gained a newfound passion for horror films. She is now a sophomore with a double major in film and political science. With her interdisciplinary education, she hopes to take a poli-sci spin on her future horror films.
