Barrett comes from Texas and was raised in rural Marysville, Ohio where almost no one likes movies like him. He holds a major passion for film and storytelling. From a very young age, thanks to his cinephile parents, he has had a love for cinema. It was only within the past three years that he decided he wanted to make movies and ever since then it has become his life's mission to make the movies he has dreamt of. He has a desire to write, direct, and edit for many years and in OU’s BFA in Film program he hopes to get the tools and experience necessary to achieve this life mission.
