Childhood Hearing and Vision Screenings

Supporting local school districts by screening children

The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine's Community Health Programs, in support of school nurses across the region, provides screenings and makes referrals for proper diagnosis and treatment of children with hearing and vision problems. Clinical services are provided by a certified nurse practitioner. Screenings are performed by trained, certified nurses. Our screenings follow the Ohio Department of Health's Vision and Hearing Guidelines and Requirements. We use the most up-to-date equipment for each grade requirement.
