Benefits Open Enrollment Ends 5/5/21

May 3, 2021

As a reminder, the annual Benefits Open Enrollment period will be open through Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

Please visit My Personal Information and select Self Service Benefits to enroll.

Benefit changes and elections made during this Open Enrollment period will take effect on July 1, 2021. Refer to the Self Service User Manual [PDF]  for instructions using MPI to enroll.

If you do not want to make any changes to your health, dental, vision, life, or disability insurance plans you do not need to take any action.  However, if you want to participate in a Flexible Spending Account you must log in and make that election each year. Federal regulations require employees elect flexible spending accounts each year. Open Enrollment is a good time to review your coverages and your life insurance beneficiaries.

Detailed plan coverage options are available on the Open Enrollment web page. General overview presentations with question and answer sessions will continue to be held utilizing Microsoft Teams Meetings next week:

VSP (Vision Service Plan) is also offering online session:

Please note that when adding new dependents, employees will need to provide documents to verify eligibility. Documents may be uploaded online during the enrollment process or submitted to the Human Resources Employee Service Center in WUSOC 276 by May 5th. More details regarding required documentation can be found on the Verification of Dependents page.

Enrollment is the annual opportunity OHIO employees have to make changes to their benefits coverage plan options. In compliance with Federal regulations, other than during the annual Open Enrollment period, employees can only change their benefits if a qualifying event occurs. Review the when can I change page for details regarding life events that allow changes to be made.
