Spousal travel – per policy 41.121 - Reimbursement for Official Travel and Entertainment, a spouse’s travel may be reimbursed, at the university’s expense, if the spouse’s presence has a documented business purpose and pre-approval has been obtained in accordance with the policy. Travel such as this can be booked in Concur or through an agent at CBT.

This is necessary for a couple of reasons:

1. Our contract no longer extends University travel rates to personal travel.
2. We will be rolling out a Duty of Care program over the summer and to do that successfully, we need to remove personal travel from our University business travel system. More information on Duty of Care will be shared this summer.
