Benefits Open Enrollment 2026

The 2026 Benefits Open Enrollment period will begin on the afternoon of April 14, 2026 and close on May 6, 2026.

Open Enrollment is the one time each year you can enroll or make changes in your health care benefits. Otherwise, changes may only be made if a qualifying family status change has occurred. This year's Benefits Open Enrollment period is April 14, 2026 through May 6, 2026. Any enrollment changes made during the enrollment period are effective July 1, 2026.

Benefits eligible faculty and staff will receive emails granting them access to the Benefits Open Enrollment system on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 14th. During Open Enrollment you can make changes to your medical, dental, vision, life and short term disability coverages and re-enroll/enroll in a Flexible Spending Account for the next plan year.

If you do not want to make any changes to your medical, dental, vision, life or disability insurance plans you do not need to take any action. However, if you want to participate in a Flexible Spending Account you must log in and make that election each year. We do recommend that you verify your life insurance beneficiaries
