Residence Hall Mail
OHIO students in the residence halls can retrieve letters and packages from their designated Green mail rooms. When a student's package arrives at a mail room, the package will be logged and an email message will be sent to the students OHIO email account notifying them that a package is ready to be picked up.
Emails received from vendors (Amazon, UPS, etc.) stating the package has been delivered, does not mean that the package has been delivered to the final destination and is ready for pick up. Rather, an email from OHIO is the final notification that the package is ready for pick up. To pick up a package, you will need to bring your OHIO ID to your designated green mail room during operating hours.
Packages will not be received by US Postal Services until the Monday prior to the semester opening.
To ensure mail and packages are delivered securely and without delay, students should address all mail to their assigned Green mail room. Each mailing address must also include the student's residence hall and room number to ensure items are routed correctly and received promptly. Additionally, please include your middle initial along with your full name when addressing your mail and packages. Adding your middle initial can help distinguish between residents with similar or identical names.

Green Mail Rooms do NOT accept deliveries from food or grocery delivery services.
This includes services such as:
- DoorDash
- Uber Eats
- Instacart
- Other food or grocery delivery services
If you order food or groceries through one of these services, you must arrange to meet the delivery driver and receive your order directly. Drivers should not leave these deliveries at the Green Mail Rooms. The only exception is food items purchased through Amazon are delivered to the Green Mail Rooms and processed like other Amazon packages.
