Expert in Residence Program

The Expert in Residence (EIR) program connects Ohio University students with accomplished alumni, executives, and industry leaders from a wide range of fields. Launched by Housing and Residence Life, in partnership with Honors Tutorial College, EIR brings real-world expertise directly into the residential and academic experience.

Experts in Residence engage with students through meaningful, hands-on experiences designed to complement classroom learning and support professional growth. Each expert creates a customized series of interactions based on their background and interests, offering students direct access to insights, mentorship, and career pathways.
