Finding Bobcats and Roommates

Ohio University has partnered with the MyCollegeRoomie app to offer a dynamic roommate finding tool for incoming OHIO students, called MyOHIORoomie. MyOHIORoomie allows incoming first year students to customize a profile, answer a compatibility questionnaire, and connect with other first year OHIO students. The platform is designed to help find both roommates and friends prior to arriving on campus.

The MyOHIORoomie platform may not be fully accessible to some individuals with a disability. If you experience a barrier using this technology call 740.740.4090 or email housing@ohio.edu and our staff will respond to assist.

Matching with Roommates

While MyOHIORoomie is an excellent tool for connecting with incoming Bobcats and finding potential roommates, it is not the platform for official roommate matching during room selection. If you connect with a roommate or roommates through MyOHIORoomie, you will need to officially match with them for room selection on your Housing Self-Service page. 

Roommate matching for room selection opens on your Housing Self-Service page on May 1 at 9 a.m.
