Using the Lowe’s FOB at your Local Store

As many of you know, Lowe’s is one of the University’s preferred suppliers for Maintenance, Repair, Operations (MRO) Supplies and Related Services. There are a couple ways that University employees can purchase from Lowes:

  • Order items from BCB catalog and have items shipped,
  • Order items through BCB catalog and specify that you will pickup items at a local store (see the Lowe’s user guide for details),
  • Or visiting your local Lowe’s store and making a purchase with your payment card.

When shopping at a local store, the Finance department has FOBs that the employee must take with them to receive a 7% discount on all in-store items. Please note: These FOBs are for the discount only, the employee purchasing with their payment card MUST also notify the cashier that the university is tax exempt. The University’s tax exemption number is printed on all University payment cards.
