Thermo Fisher Scientific (Formerly Life Technologies) to Launch Punch-out Catalog in BobcatBUY
Effective April 8, 2020, Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly Life Technologies) will be available in BobcatBUY as an additional preferred supplier of scientific supplies and equipment. The punch-out catalog in BobcatBUY will offer a variety of supplies plus search capabilities and shopping features. Campus customers will receive overnight shipping on all in-stock items placed prior to 3:00 pm, with a flat shipping cost of $29.95.
The extensive catalog offers discounted pricing, with discounts ranging from 3 to 50 percent off of retail prices. New product trainings and instrumental demo are also available. With the punch-out catalog, all POs are automatically transmitted to the Thermo Fisher Scientific eProcurement team and submitted for fulfillment. Invoices and credit memos are also electronically transmitted to Accounts Payable through a billing portal.
Campus customers may notice that there is another Fisher Scientific catalog available in BobcatBUY. Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly Life Technologies) is a direct manufacturer of scientific supplies and equipment and can sell direct to customers. While Fisher Scientific carries a wider variety of scientific supplies as a distributer of multiple manufacturers, including Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly Life Technologies).
