OBI Dashboard Updates

During the month of August, we mave the following OBI dashboard enhancements:

On the Employee Lookup dashboard, a new column was added for Department of Academic Review.  This field was formerly known as the Tenure Department field in the Human Resources systems.  It was renamed in the spring to better reflect the inclusion of non-tenure track faculty.  The use of this field was expanded to include the alignment of regional faculty to a home evaluative department and to include instructional faculty, clinical faculty, visiting faculty, and tenure track faculty.  If you have questions about the use of this field, please contact your CFAO or University Human Resources at uhr@ohio.edu.  To view this new field on the Employee Lookup dashboard in OBI, right click on the header row in any column, select Include Column, and then select Department of Academic Review.  If you export the data, this column will automatically be included in your export.   

On the FARM Approvers Lookup Dashboard, a separate column for the Org # was added to the results.  This data was available previously in the dashboard in the Org #/Desc column, but if users wanted organization number in a single field, they had to manipulate the data in Excel to put it in a separate column.  Adding this as a separate field in the dashboard results will give users more flexibility to work with the data in the format that they need.
