FY18: Fund Balance Timeline

July 26 – Preliminary fund balance templates provided to planning units following second close

July 31 – Open BPA Office Hours – Fund Balance Workshop

                  1 – 4:30 p.m. in HRTC Rm 150    

August 1 – Planning unit FY18 year-end funding transfers due to BPA for processing prior to third close

After third close – Automated FY18 fund balance process occurs

August 8 – Administrative planning unit fund balance requests due to BPA

FY19: Budgets

The Budget Office plans to have FY19 budgets loaded by August 1, 2018.

FY20: Budget Planning

The fall forecasting cycle for FY20 budget planning begins in September 2018. Communication regarding the timeline will be finalized in August and will be presented as part of the Budget Partner Group meeting. A FY20 Budget Planning kickoff and training meeting will be scheduled for the fall.
