BobcatBUY Catalog Upgrades for Connection (formerly known as GovConnection)

In February 2024, the Connection (formerly ‘GovConnection’) catalog within the BobcatBUY (“BCB”), was upgraded with additional search capabilities and delivery tracking information. The Connection catalog offers preferred suppliers for IT maintenance, software and hardware supplies and is contracted through the E&I sourcing cooperative. You can access the new functionality in the catalog as shown below:

• Confirmation tab: Connection purchase orders will display a “confirmation” tab that includes an estimated shipping date. Click the blue confirmation number link to open the shipment header box. The shipping date in the confirmation tab is static once the order is placed and is not updated afterward.

• Shipments tab: Connection purchase orders will display a “shipments” tab that will be updated with shipping notification information including date shipped, estimated delivery date, shipping carrier, and tracking number. This information will be dynamically updated as delivery information changes.
