I earned a B.S. in Geological Sciences from Ohio University in 1982, an M.S. in Geological Sciences (specializing in structural geology) from the University of Connecticut in 1984, and a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences (specializing in geology and geophysics) from Rutgers University in 1997. I am a licensed professional geologist specializing in structural analyses, fractured-bedrock aquifers, and tectonics.

I retired from civil service after 32 with the New Jersey Geological Survey and am currently conducting geoarchaeological research. My blogs, publications, virtual GeoTools, classes, and Google Earth themes are available at http://www.impacttectonics.org.
