The English faculty is deeply committed to quality teaching and important scholarship and creative activity.
Faculty research and publish extensively, which in turn allows them to engage students with the perspectives, issues, and knowledge construction of their respective areas of study. For instance, over the past three years, English faculty have collectively:
- Won 48 awards
- Been awarded 42 grants
- Had 15 book publications
- Published 221 essays, chapters, articles or poems
- Presented 322 times at conferences and invitational addresses
