Forensics and Investigations

The Information Security Office performs data forensics and investigations to identify, collect, preserve, and examine evidence or information that is stored on university systems. 

Features:

• On-site source data (evidence) acquisition and duplication
• Data recovery
• Log file collection and analysis

Eligibility

Only at the request of Ohio University Legal Affairs, Human Resources, OUPD, the Office of Audit, Risk, and Compliance, or the Office of Equity and Civil Rights Compliance, will forensic analysis be performed.
