Academy of Clinical Educators (ACE)
ACE - Osteopathic Principles and Practice (ACE-OPP)
ACE and ACE-OPP are available to new and experienced Heritage College Clinical Faculty/Preceptors (Adjunct Clinical Faculty cohort). ACE focuses on strengthening teaching skills and enhancing knowledge or academic medicine and ACE-OPP includes an OPP track where participants enhance their OMM/OPP skills/knowledge.

The Academy of Healthcare Leaders and Managers
The Academy of Healthcare Leaders and Managers (AHLM) is designed to train residency directors and medical education managers through an administration-focused curriculum concentrated on improving programs, leading trainees, and planning for leadership succession. Participation in AHLM includes AOA Category 1A CME credits, certificate of completion, and opportunity to be part of a clinical faculty leadership cohort with similar interests and commitments to program management and trainee development.

- TeachingPhysician.org is an innovative web resource. The site offers videos, audio interviews, tips, answers to frequently asked questions, and links to in-depth information on precepting topics (preparation, residents as teachers, orienting a learner, precepting principles, what to teach, teaching strategies, EHR and health informatics, giving feedback, evaluating learners, learners in difficulty, after the rotation.
- HCOM has pre-paid for adjunct clinical faculty’s no-cost and unlimited access. In terms of CME, TeachingPhysician.org, as an Enduring Material activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 40.00 prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. The information in TeachingPhysician.org is applicable to all specialties. Physicians who need a certificate can down load it after completing the evaluation for appropriate section. Then, physicians can submit that certificate to their organization for CME credits. Log in to TeachingPhysician.org with our shared username and password.
