What is a Faculty Learning Community?

A Faculty Learning Community (FLC) is a faculty group that meets and provide encouragement, support, and reflection on teaching and learning issues. In addition, faculty will investigate, question, explore, and apply new or different teaching methods.

How does it work?

Each FLC meeting focuses on a question or a topic in teaching and learning. The group members collectively share their knowledge and skills. The Office of Faculty Learning, Development and Scholarship (OFLDS) will facilitate the sessions.
