W-2 Information
Form W-2 is an Internal Revenue Service tax form used in the United States to report wages paid to employees and the taxes withheld from them.
Starting in 2025 for the 2024 year, we are using the services of ADP to process and file the W-2 tax statements.
- You can access the online 2024 W-2 tax statements and any forthcoming year via My ADP (www.ohio.edu/myadp).
- You can access online W-2 tax statements for the years prior to 2024 via My Personal Information (MPI)
How to Elect to Receive your W-2 Form Electronically
If you would like to sign up for electronic delivery of your W-2, log into My ADP (www.ohio.edu/myadp) and toggle the Go Paperless option on. Once you select this option, you will only receive an electronic W-2 tax statement. You will NOT receive a paper version of your W-2. For more details on how to sign up for electronic delivery, please see Instructions for Accessing Your 2024 W-2 Tax Statement.

This form should be used for new employees to the University and current employees who wish to change their withholding status or update their address. Visit the Human Resource Address Update page and look for the W4 Withholding Exemption Forms for YOUR state of residence.
Non-resident Aliens
Completing the W-4
New Ohio University employees who are non-resident aliens should complete the Glacier questionnaire to determine their tax status. To gain access to the Glacier software, you must complete the New Employee Tax Compliance Notification form and upload the completed form to University Human Resources via the secure file upload site. You will receive a password and instructions on how to access Glacier via an email. The Glacier software will provide the appropriate tax forms.

Lines 1, 2 and 4: Complete per Form W-4 Instructions;
Line 3: Claim “single” status, regardless of actual marital status;
Line 5: Claim no more than “one” allowance [Note: a non-resident alien who are a resident of Canada, Mexico, or South Korea may claim more than one allowance];
Line 6: Write “Non-resident alien” or “NRA” on the dotted line (at your option, you may request an additional withholding amount); and
Line 7: Leave blank: a non-resident alien cannot claim exemption on this form.
