Enhanced Search and Delivery Tracking Now Available in Fastenal Catalog
The Fastenal punchout catalog in BCB, which is the University preferred supplier for maintenance, repair, and operational (MRO) needs, equipment, tools, and industrial supplies, now includes the following enhanced features:

Confirmation tab: Fastenal purchase orders will display a “confirmation” tab that includes an estimated shipping date. The shipping date in the confirmation tab is static once the order is placed.
- Shipments tab: Fastenal purchase orders will display a “shipments” tab which will be updated with shipping notification information including date shipped, estimated delivery date, shipping carrier, and tracking number. This information will be dynamically updated as delivery information changes.
Shipping terms with Fastenal
Shipping charges are included in the purchase price (no additional charge). Item lead times vary but you can now see them within BCB. Additional shipping charges may apply to special handling requirements, hazmat items, freight items, and expedited shipping requests.
Warranty/Return Items
Returns for Fastenal products must be made within 30 days of the purchase date, unless otherwise indicated, and only if the items are in the original packaging, unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition. Returns can be initiated by anyone from the University by contacting Meg Dunfee, OHIO’s Fastenal Account Rep, at mdunfee@fastenal.com or by calling 740-288-4800. Please be aware, closing your purchase order in BCB does not guarantee cancellation of your order, so please be sure to reach out to Meg for all order changes.
