Leaders on and off the Court

The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program works closely with campus organizations such as the Women's Center on special events and programming.

The annual Celebrating Women: Leaders on & off the Court is an Ohio University program that helps recognize students in leadership positions across campus. The Celebrating Women event includes leaders from athletic teams, scholarship programs, and student organizations.

Margaret Boyd Scholars

The Margaret Boyd Scholars Program seeks to inspire and encourage undergraduate women to become engaged, confident and connected leaders at Ohio University and beyond. Women are selected as Boyd Scholars in fall semester of their first year. The four-year program includes a first-year seminar, a second-year residential component, a third-year internship experience and a fourth-year capstone seminar.
