The Sustainable Infrastructure Hub is led by Dr. Jesús Pagán.

Dr. Pagán is an associate professor in the Department of Engineering Technology and Management in the Russ College of Engineering and Technology at Ohio University. Dr. Pagán formerly worked for OTC Daihen in Dayton, Ohio and Newport New Shipbuilding in Newport News, Virginia. He holds a BS and Masters degree in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University and recently completed his Doctorate degree in Mechanical and Systems Engineering from Ohio University. He was president and owner of Zeus Robotics, an Athens based robotics and automation company started at the Innovation Center. He teaches courses in metal fabrication and casting, robotics and automation, and applied mechatronics. His research interests include robotics, 3D Printing or additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and energy and environmental issues. Dr. Pagán is actively engaged in entrepreneurship and workforce development. He is a member of the Association of Technology Management and Applied Engineering, Epsilon Pi Tau honor society in technology, American Welding Society and a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.
