Let the Campus Recreation's Personal Trainers help you reach your well-being & fitness goals! Our trainers can help you set goals, develop an exercise program, or introduce you to exercises to take your fitness to the next level. Working with a personal trainer will help challenge and motivate you while keeping you accountable to your personalized goals. Personal training is great for students, faculty/staff, or community members of all ages and experiences.
F45 Training combines elements of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, and Functional Training. The fusion of these three training concepts has lead to the development of 27 different 45-minute workout experiences, with more in development! This combination of interval, cardiovascular and strength training has been proven to be the most effective workout method for burning fat and building lean muscle.
Group Fitness Classes
De-stress and find your fitness in a group environment at Ohio University! Take part in a variety of Group Fitness classes here at Ohio University Campus Recreation including Cycle, Cardio Dance, Yoga, or F45 Training (membership required for F45 Training)
ACE Certification Prep E-Courses
The ACE Certification prep e-courses are self-paced online courses that help you to prepare you for either the Personal Training or Group Fitness Instructor Certification exam through the American Council on Exercise.
Student Well-Being Coaching
A free virtual service offered by University Well-Being & Recreation that provides opportunities for you to BE ACTIVE, BE CONNECTED, and BE YOURSELF by gaining awareness about the life that you want to live both now, and in the future. Student Well-Being Coaching takes a positive approach to personal development, focusing on your strengths to create a realistic plan that brings you closer to your well-being goals.
