Facility Request Form

The Ohio University Golf Course is available for outings, tournaments, and private rentals. Outing options are available for 9-hole and 18-hole outings and includes a registration table, (3) hole contest markers, greens fees for each golfer and cart fees. To request an outing, please fill out the form below.

* Rates reflect the 2022 season. Outing available for University Special Event Weekends will be limited or unavailable (Homecoming, Family Weekends, Graduation, etc.)

General Outing Guidelines

  • Maximum of 72 golfers per outing and 36 golf carts available
  • You will receive 1 table and 2 chairs with your reservation, all other tables will be billed
  • OHIO GTC has a 6-seater golf cart available to rent as a concession cart, but concessions will be the responsibility of the renter
  • Golf Carts will be marked with name and player lineup
  • Scorecards, pencils and other relevant materials will be set in each cart prior to outing start time
  • All players are expected to return the golf cart to the staging area upon completion of the round
  • Any additional staff member required to facilitate an safe environment for outings will be at an additional cost to the organizer
  • Renter will have access to the club house and course no earlier than one (1) hour prior to outing/event registration start time.
  • Renter must have an access protocol in place for the outing/event, including staffing at a registration or check-in table for admission to the outing/event. 

Outing Payment Process

  • Final count of anticipated golfers will be required seven (7) days from outing date to determine cap number of golfers. Final invoice price will reflect the anticipated attendance numbers, unless actual attendance is higher than the anticipated count provided. If golfer attendance is lower than the anticipated number, no more than 5 golfers will be removed from final bill (not to be reduced lower than 36).
  • Outing costs and any additional fees incurred during outing will be billed to reservation contact following completion of outing. University outings will be billed to the specified university account.
    • Ohio University Golf Course will not collect individual player fees from outing participants.
    • Discounts will not be given to Ohio University Golf Members for outing costs.


  • All cancellations must be made in writing through email to
  • Cancellations made 14 days out: No costs incurred.
  • Cancellations made 13-7 days out: 25% of outing base rate charged.
  • Cancellation made under 7 days, or no show: 50% of outing base rate plus any costs already incurred by Ohio University Campus Recreation.

Inclement Weather

If inclement weather occurs, or University Well-Being and Recreation must cancel the outing, the option to reschedule or cancel the outing will be offered to customer. If customer decides to cancel outing the final bill will be waived (minus costs already incurred).

Inclement weather options will include:

  • If outing is delayed one (1) hour the outing becomes a 9 hole outing (final costs reflect 9-hole rate).
  • If outing is delayed more than one (1) hour customer has the option to reschedule, or cancel outing and waive invoice (minus any costs already incurred). 


  • Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on the golf course at any time.
  • Children ages 6 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult while on the golf course.
  • Players must be 18 years or older to rent a golf cart. Players must be 16 years or older to operate a golf cart and must present a valid driver’s license to the front desk before beginning.
  • All children that are participating must pay greens fees or purchase a membership to use the golf course.


Outings and events at the Ohio University Golf Course can utilize purple lot 93 outside of the Ohio University Golf Course. Purple and green lots require a parking permits 7am-5pm M-F. Parking permits will not be required over weekends, but parking is not guaranteed. Outings and events held on weekdays must work with University Well-Being and Recreation's  Reservations team to coordinate parking needs and potential lot reservations.
