Employees are eligible for a discounted per day parking rate at the Columbus Airport for business or personal travel. In order to receive the discount you must first sign up for an Ohio University card through theParkingSpot(opens in a new window) website or download the Parkingspot App from the iPhone App Store or Andriod Play Store. You must register your account with the Corporate Discount Code Ohio2428.
Enterprise or National Car Rental- For University Business
Only University employees and students are eligible to use the university business code (for university related travel). To rent a vehicle using the University business account number the driver of the car must be at least 18 years or older (no exceptions). You should always reserve the rental car through Concur or Christopherson Business Travel when traveling for business. In rare instances where this is not possible, you can work directly with Enterprise/National to reserve a car using your university provided credit card (you cannot bill the CTA card if you set the reservation up directly with the vendor).

Note about insurance:
- Domestic Business Travel: You do not need the additional insurance when traveling domestically for the rental car. The University already has insurance in place for rental cars.
- International Business Travel: When traveling internationally, you MUST purchase the additional insurance for the rental car to ensure compliance with insurance laws within country.

University employees, students and retirees are eligible to use the leisure code to rent a vehicle from Enterprise/National for personal travel. The following regulations apply to these rental programs and the rental car companies validate this by asking for photo ID. You MUST Be at least 25 years old to rent a vehicle using the leisure code and there are no exceptions to this rule. You cannot reserve a car for personal travel in Concur, you must set this up through the rental car company directly. You can do this by visiting the Enterprise portal at:

Note about insurance when traveling personally: You will have to provide proof of insurance or purchase the additional insurance when renting a car for personal travel whether traveling domestically or internationally.

When reserving your rental car for leisure travel through Hertz, you MUST select leisure travel in the portal when reserving the rental car. You cannot reserve a car for personal travel in Concur, you must set this up through the rental car company directly. University employees, students and retirees are eligible to use the leisure code to rent a vehicle from Hertz for personal travel. The following regulations apply to these rental programs and the rental car companies validate this by asking for photo ID. Vendor will apply upcharges on personal rentals for drivers 21-24 (which can be substantial). This will exclude damage waiver and liability coverages, available for purchase at the tie of rental.
