Nelson Court offers a diverse range of dining concepts, including daily vegan and vegetarian options to support a variety of dietary preferences. Unlike The District, gluten- and nut-containing foods are served at this location.

To support guests with food allergies or sensitivities, allergen-conscious meals are prepared and stored separately behind the serving areas. These items are always available upon request—just ask a staff member for assistance.

About The District on West Green

At The District, we proudly support our Bobcats with food allergies and dietary restrictions. Our menu is entirely nut-free, providing a safe dining environment for those with nut sensitivities. To help maintain this safety, we kindly ask that no nut products be brought into the facility.*

The District also features Margaret’s Made for You—a dedicated concept offering freshly prepared, made-to-order meals for students with special dietary needs. Meals are crafted by our trained staff to ensure both safety and satisfaction.

*Breakfast at the concept, Carvers Cut, between 9:30am-10:30am, Monday-Friday will be while supplies last. This guarantees time for our staff to prepare for lunch service. Waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt and the Omelette Station will remain open.

Shively Commons is located on the ground floor of Shively Hall on East Green. This newest location features a convenient order-ahead experience with food lockers for quick, contactless pickup.

The new Shively Commons brings together three distinct concepts—Cucina (Italian favorites like calzones), Mezze (Mediterranean flavors), and Teppan (Hibachi-inspired dishes)—offering a variety of fresh, made-to-order options.

Simply order ahead through the OHIO Eats App or place an order at the in-person kiosk for a seamless dining experience.
