Academic Standing (Probation) Finalized for Fall Semester 2023-24

Dear Bobcat:

Your academic standing (probation), as of Fall Semester 2023-24, has been finalized. Please go to MyOHIO Student Center  to review your academic standing.

To view your grades and academic standing (probation):

After signing in to MyOHIO Student Center

·  click on "other academic..." drop-down box   

·  choose "Grades"  

·  click the double arrow to the right of the drop-down box   

·  select appropriate semester 

 · click Continue

Official Grades will be listed, followed by the Term Statistics, followed by Academic Standing.

At the close of the semester, the academic record of each enrolled undergraduate student is reviewed. At the time of the review, if you do not have the required 2.0 minimum accumulative GPA, you will be placed on academic probation. To be removed from probation, your accumulative GPA must reach at least a 2.0.

Ohio University is here to support you. If you are placed (or continued) on probation, there are resources at OHIO to help you. The Center for Advising, Career and Experiential Learning may provide guidance and suggest specific resources to assist you. Also, the Academic Achievement Center  offers tutoring, study skills coaching, math and science center, student writing center, and supplemental instruction. Please do not hesitate to reach out and ask for assistance.

If you have questions regarding your academic standing (probation), please contact your college or regional campus student services office.  We cannot discuss your detailed grade information via phone due to the confidential nature of the records. Note: Ohio University is closed December 25 through January 1, 2024. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 and will be happy to respond to your inquiry as soon as possible after that time.
