Welcome to the Brigadier General James M. Abraham - Colonel Arlene F. Greenfield Veterans and Military Student Services Center resources website.

Our Mission Statement is...
"Support and advocate for veterans and military affiliated students in their transition to Ohio University and their pursuit of intellectual and personal development."

At Ohio University, we recognize and value the contributions that you--our veterans, dependents, and military personnel--make to our campus community in your role as students, faculty, staff and members of the Athens community. We recognize and honor the sacrifices you have made through your service to our country and appreciate the leadership and broad experiences you bring to OHIO. The purpose of Ohio University’s Veteran and Military Student Services Center is to provide, facilitate and coordinate programs and services as effectively as possible for you and your family members. We strive to assist you in making a successful transition to the Ohio University community and support you through your academic careers. The office coordinator serves as the central point of contact for students with a dedicated network of OHIO Military Points of Contact serving as additional resources.

For several years, Ohio University has worked to improve and expand services for student veterans and military personnel. It is an honor to be recognized as a Military Friendly Institution; however, we are committed to continual improvement. If you have questions about being an OHIO student or suggestions about how we can better serve you, please contact us. We are proud to have you as a member of the Bobcat Family.

OHIO has been named as a Military Friendly Institution for the past five years.
