Discipline Procedure
Well-Being & Recreation holds its student employees to high standards of conduct and appearance. Employees who cannot meet those standards will be subject to disciplinary action as deemed necessary by their supervisors.
Procedure
Well-Being & Recreation operates on a 3-strike system. A list of unsatisfactory behaviors and the assigned strikes are outlined below. If an employee accumulates 3 strikes, they may be terminated at the discretion of their professional staff supervisor. The number of strikes will reset to zero at the end of each academic year. However, if a strike occurs within the final month of an academic year, it will carry over to the next year. The following list outlines the actions taken with each number of strikes.
- 1 Strike: Written warning
- 2 Strikes: Written warning, meeting with Pro Staff Supervisor
- 3 Strikes: Meeting with Pro Staff Supervisor & Business Operations. Discretion of supervisor, potential termination
Strikes will accumulate and apply to each area of employment. For example, if a student is employed at Ping and the Golf Course and receives one strike from their Ping supervisor and one strike from their Golf Course supervisor, they now have two total strikes applied to their employment.
