The Technology team helps with any computer issues.

The Technology team serves as the first point of contact for technology-related problems and support requests. They assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity concerns, supporting printers and peripherals, configuring devices, addressing account access problems, and helping staff effectively use technology resources to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.

The Technology team manages the department's technology inventory.

The team is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all technology assets throughout the department. This includes tracking computers, monitors, mobile devices, software licenses, and other equipment; overseeing device deployment and replacement schedules; coordinating equipment requests and returns; and ensuring that technology resources are accounted for, properly maintained, and available to support operational needs.

The Technology team serves as our primary contact for OIT.

The team acts as the department's liaison to the Office of Information Technology (OIT), coordinating communication, service requests, and technology initiatives. They work closely with OIT to escalate issues, facilitate access to enterprise services, communicate technology updates and changes, advocate for departmental needs, and ensure compliance with university or organizational technology standards and policies.

The Technology team provides additional technology resources as needed.

Beyond routine support and inventory management, the team offers guidance, training, consultation, and specialized technology services to meet evolving departmental needs. This may include supporting new technology implementations, evaluating technology solutions, assisting with digital engagement initiatives, coordinating technology-related projects, developing documentation and best practices, and connecting staff with appropriate resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
