Encrypting Mac Files

Preview (for PDFs)

1. Open the PDF you want to password protect with Preview.
2. Go to File, then select Export, then Encrypt.
3. Type a password, then type it again to verify.
4. Save the file to ensure the password takes effect.

Keka Zip (for multiple files of any type)

1. Install Keka from keka.io/en
2. Open Keka.
3. Choose ZIP format type.
4. Enter a password.
5. Select use AES-256 encryption.
6. Drag and drop files into the Keka window.
7. Enter Save as Name and Save Location, then select Compress.
