Bicycle Policy

Although it is not a widely publicized rule, bicycles are prohibited inside university buildings for many reasons. Bicycles are particularly a problem when they are chained because they cannot be moved for cleaning or in emergencies. Bringing them through the halls brings dirt into the building and leaves grease on the carpets.

Please cooperate with university regulations and use the outside bike racks. If you don't, the custodians and police officers can impound your bicycle as they have done in the past.
