Jennifer Gwilym, D.O. (03'), serves as Interim Senior Dean of the Heritage College, providing executive leadership for strategic advancement and curricular innovation. A national leader in osteopathic education and health policy, she has led numerous medical associations, including serving as President of the Ohio Osteopathic Association. Throughout her career, Dr. Gwilym has remained committed to strengthening the primary care workforce and preparing physicians to serve their communities with excellence.

The senior dean of the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine provides academic leadership for the college's medical education mission and serves as the institution's chief academic officer for medical education. Working closely with faculty, university leadership and clinical partners, the senior dean ensures excellence across the continuum of medical education, from undergraduate medical education (UME) through graduate medical education (GME).
The senior dean leads academic strategy, supports faculty success and ensures that educational programs meet the highest standards of quality, accreditation and innovation while preparing physicians to serve communities across Ohio and beyond.
