What to Do in an Emergency

If you are concerned about the immediate health or well-being of a student in an emergent situation you should call 9-1-1 and explain the situation to the dispatcher. Please share as much information as possible including the location of the student, their situation, and any safety concerns. You can also direct a student to go to their closest emergency room.

If you need further direction, you can contact Heritage College Student Affairs on any campus during office hours and they will be able to discuss the situation with you and determine a best course of action. Administration may be included in these conversations to best support the student.

Primary Care Information

It is important to establish care with a Primary Care Physician (PCP) in the Central Ohio area for accessible healthcare needs during medical school. Before scheduling an initial appointment, call or review your individual insurance plan to ensure your insurance is accepted. For further questions or assistance on establishing care, please see Dr. Kayla Duty.
