Fall 2022 marked the return of the Aspiring D.O.ctors Precollege program on campus. Due to covid we had a smaller cohort with thirteen 11th graders from Warrensville Heights High School. Students spent three days on campus immersed in medical activities.

The students enjoyed learning clinical skills. They were eager to learn how to prepare for surgery using scrubbing gloving, and gowning practices, and creating bruises using a technique called moulage. In anatomy students were able to dissect various parts of an animal such as the brain and heart. 

During each session students were able to interact with medical students and faculty. The medical students also held Q & As with the students. The Warrensville Heights Fire and EMS and a trip into South Pointes occupational therapy department gave students a look into other careers in the medical field.
