Services Provided
The NSS-ACOOG at the Heritage College strives to educate osteopathic medical students about the profession of obstetrics and gynecology using an osteopathic philosophy. As a club focused on women's health, we also aim to help the community around us by volunteering and getting involved in women's health initiatives. Our organization will take part in community activities that will educate on women's health and strive for better women's health outcomes -- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, as outlined by an osteopathic philosophy.
Tentative Schedule for 2023-2024
Each semester we will host one panel hosting practicing Ob/Gyn's, current residents, program directors, and/or recently matched OMS-IV's. We will also plan on collaborating with other interest groups to host an ultrasound skills lab. We plan to host a contraception workshop as well.
