No-Shave November
Let the Face-Offs Begin!
HAIR LEADS HERE
We’re getting shaggy to fight cancer. For the month of November, our motto is Hair Leads Here!
No-Shave November is a web-based, non-profit initiative to raise funds and awareness for cancer prevention, research and education. Participants simply stop shaving and grooming for 30 days to start conversations and raise cancer awareness. They can donate the money they would have spent on personal hair care to the cause, or line up sponsors to donate in support of their hair-raising commitments.
Many cancer patients lose their hair due to treatment; by letting their own grow without restraint on chins, legs or wherever it sprouts, No-Shave Novembrists assist in fighting this disease, which claims 22,000 lives worldwide every day. No-Shave November has raised over $3.5 million in its six years of existence.
Different groups in the Heritage College have tossed their clippers into the ring. You can take part in the fun, too, by joining the Heritage College No-Shave November team. Or you can click on the participants' names below to reach their individual page on the No-Shave website.
