Andrew Culver, D.O., to chair Specialty Medicine

I’m excited to share that Andrew Culver, D.O., has been named permanent chair of the Department of Specialty Medicine.

As shared in his interim appointment announcement, Andy is a proud graduate of Ohio University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, who has devoted more than 20 years of service to his alma mater as a medical educator. Over the course of his tenure, Andy has helped to actualize our educational mission while serving as an excellent champion for students during their clinical education experiences. Aside from his leadership and teaching roles at Heritage College, Andy practices emergency medicine at Pomerene Hospital and serves on the Executive Committee of the Cleveland Academy of Osteopathic Medicine.

I appreciate the feedback shared by many members of the Department of Specialty Medicine during this search, whose participation and input were vital to our selection process. Please join me in congratulating Andy on this professional milestone!
